If I had a million dollars, why would I want a Green Card.
I would want to live like a King in India with servants and all.

You are wrong. Since she is currently on an H1B, her previous H4 stamp is invalid. She will need to get it restamped. When she returns, at the port of entry, unless she gets her H4 restamped, her status will be H1B and she will not be let in on her old H4 stamp.
>> Since she is currently on an H1B, her previous H4 stamp is invalid.
Incorrect. Total BS in your post.
Re-entry using H4 visa will get her back into H4 status, like your attorney suggested.

Folks,
Appreciate any feedback on personal experiences with visitor's medical insurance coverage. My in-laws are planning to visit this summer and I am trying to see what would be the best available option out there based on your recent experiences. There are plenty of options and I am trying to find one which the hospital/doctor can file a claim directly to or which have negotiated rates and are easy to deal with after we file a claim for reimbursement. I have read that buying insurance in US is preferred over buying from India. Any comments on that appreciated as well.
Thanks for your feedback.

Transferring cases saying that it is to speed up processing which essentially delays processing maing us wonder if it is a time buying tactic to cover inefficiecy.
An application filed in August if not transferred to NSC would have had ND and RD as August, but now it has Oct. Rubbing salt on the wound NSC is processing 2006 and 2007 cases and not picking 2004 cases.

Thanks so much for your quick response. Yes, I am planning to start EB2 from scratch since there is no relief in EB3. So, I will have to convince the company to bear the cost :(

I worked for company A till Jun 2003 on h1 for 3 years. Then i went back to India and switched to company B. Now I'm in US on L1 thru company B. I'm thinking of switching back to company A in US. But my H1 got expired on June 2004. My question: Is it possible to renew the original H1 processed by company A now and start working for it? Please help. You said you have worked for Company A for 3yrs.in that case you H1 is arleady expired unless you have revalidated from company A.. If you have to work for Company A again you have to file a new H1B.

Folks! MSNBC is organizing a gut check on the immigration issue (though this appears to be on issues related to illegal immigration). It's a message board inviting opinions on immigration with an expert panel set to reply to the meesages posted. Eventually, messages will be short-listed for publishing. We may be able to make an opportunity out of this.

Even PT MBA..can be a vehicle for career change as well as growth!
Full time has its + ..but will u wait till u get a GC to start ur MBA..?
I believe PT from any of the top 10 PT programs is worth considering! in chicago land area u have kello, UC and depaul...the rating for PT programs is different compared to full time!
You can only speculate..abt what is good and what is not! The first job break after a PT will be crucial!
There is no logical reason to NOT do an MBA if u want change and further ur career!
PS: pursuing PT!

Yes, the SB800 is the best option for a flash with the D70 (http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/cameras/nikon_D70.php). As for lenses, depends on what you need. I think the 50mm 1.8 is a great lens for only $100. Works very well for wider portraits and any kind of low light photography. If you have the money to spend, the 12-24 is also a very useful lens.
