That's too funny, so it is basically saying, "if apple just ceases all operations, research and development and everyone continues, they will fail." I think they are a bit smarter then that, they might as well of said, "If you stop selling your products, you wont make money."

Hi all,
I invested in a D5000 about a year and a half ago to begin a new hobby. I was hoping to get opinions on if it would be worth it to try to make photography more than a hobby for me. I prefer nature, but would be willing to go for events maybe...I don't want to do portraits.
I've inserted some of my work from a photo camp below. Any advice/criticism would be greatly appreciated :-).

I'm a sucker for a good sunset shot, and I like the first here quit a bit. The colors and textures in the sky give it a good feel. It's a pity the sun is on the centerline, though. I tends to capture the eye because it is the brightest area of the photo. If it was a little off center I might like it even more.
The photo of the Cheetahs has a lot of potential. I like where they are placed in the frame, and the direction of their heads is a nice contrast to the flow of their bodies. Kind of moves right then left with their vision. I would like the colors of the grass to be a bit deeper. The exposure is a bit light for the shadows and that lets the sunlit area in the background go too bright.
The other two are nice vacation pics, but they don't stir me visually.

Is there a limit on how many submissions one can do in a given time period?

Yeah, that's it. The comments in the extensionroom seemed to claim that TBP had exactly the same features, but was less buggy. I guess they were wrong.
The only part of it I use is the forcing of new windows to open as new tabs instead, so there wasn't any visible difference to me.
On Windows, but not Mac, I've seen some bugginess with TBE where it will sometimes fail to implement its prefs correctly on startup, so that close buttons aren't where they're supposed to be, single-window-mode doesn't work, etc, and restarting FF is required. I don't think I've seen this on my Mac. I'm not sure to be honest, though, how true all this is. The last time I tried TBP, it did not have all the features TBE did.
But when I was talking about accidentally getting TBP, I was wondering if the OP might have done that, and thought TBE was missing a lot of prefs on the Mac. But unlikely. :)

Does anyone really use Illustrator CS to it's abilities to create vector artwork on the scale of photographic portraits?
My Illustrator class instructor does and one of our assignments was to do something of that depth. I'll try to dig up the website, if you're interested.

Cisco have owned this trademark for years. Apple were in negotiations to buy it, but for whatever reason they couldn't close the deal in time. Apple should therefore have not announced that the product was going to be called iPhone at the keynote.
Doing so before the deal was done was a big mistake. Cisco can now triple the price for the name and Apple either have to pay or look humiliated.
Apple can throw as many lawyers as they like at it now, but that name is still Cisco's property. Last time I looked, Cisco could afford a big legal team of their own. They can't be bullied here.

A lot of the times if you don't properly drive a high impedance can, a lot of its sound won't be as tight and crisp as it should, so it's not just the volume output. I remember the first time I heard a high quality tube amp on a HD650 in a store, it was the first time it made a song I really know and like have a bass that sounded like an actual kick drum rather than a soft boom boom noise, I was pretty amazed.Yup, I was really surprised when I started using a headphone amp for the first time. Its a powerful difference.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Have you plugged your hd650's into a mbp? How did it sound?

552,139 points sounds about right if your overclocked to 10.3ghz but if not then something is wrong :p
Anyways. Try and do a slight overclock to 3.5-8ghz and you'll be finishing bigadvs in no time. You need to fully complete 10 bigadv WUs to start getting their bonus. You will get 75k + points when you complete it. I get closely 90k points when I complete one, which is around 55k PPD.
Don't be afraid to OC, the 920s are the best and you can probably get close to 4ghz on air. See how far you can go on stock voltages. I got a really good chip as I'm at 4.2ghz @1.26v and it's 24/7 folding stable. Lower volts = lower temps and vice versa.
Just make sure you are using an aftermarket cooler if you OC. If you try and OC to 4Ghz with the stock....:o

Sorry man I'm not very impressed, it's clean and simple yes, but the darkish coloured text on the blue box doesn't really have alot of contrast, sure you can read it but it certanly doesn't jump out at you. Plus I've never been a big fan of super minimalist design, add some gradiants!
The text colour needs to be adjusted a bit but here's the direction I'd take it.
hmm..well the colours i've used are taken from coldplay's own artwork. i'm glad it doesn't attract attention..that'd distract people from seeing the video.
anyway, i simply wanted an alternative page to direct specific ad runs to as opposed to a blog posting. and while you may not find a coldplay ad interesting - 22,000 other people did. :)

The problem is the potential scattering of files and the date/revisions getting confused.
You could do a VPN with remote access when you are on the MBP and then have the files local when you get back to the home network. Although a VPN can be blocked by firewalls and are heavily (obviously) on the network speed.
I'll be interested to hear what other people have to say in response to your query...

Just to clarify, this is the 2407WFPb revision A03. It is the original version and better than the 2407WFP-HC. The 2407WFPb is better suited for graphic designers.
