haveu tried reparing permissions? and checking the mic/volume settings? I've been able to use ichat AV, and itunes on with 10.2.6 running perfectly and i have the same computer

A Mac isn't designed for gaming. It will work, but if your primary concern is games, then you really should look elsewhere.

She used to use a Mac years ago I believe, and I've been re-educating her over the past few weeks. She i believe is now keen to buy a Powerbook!
Only dilemma for me is to decide whether to help her buy a refurb or new one!
I hope that she will be successful with the purchase. The refurb is a good deal for those that want to save some money.

After about 10yrs i finally pulled our old SE out of the closet hoping someone has a solution to my problem! As soon as it boots up it goes right to the screen saver and it asks for a password and noone has a clue what it is how can i get this fixed?? I dont want to format it cause then i might as well throw it then. I want all the games i had on it. Can anyone help me save this thing????

If you actually want a usable Newton, go for a 2000/2100 or an eMate with OS 2.1. This one is a collectible so shouldn't really be used anyway to keep it from further wear and tear to maintain its value.

I'm planning on coming. I didn't pre-order so I'll get there pretty early. I'm going to call the store this week and try to find out if they have an idea of the number of phones not already sold through pre-order.
FWIW, I was walking by the store this weekend on the way to somewhere else so I popped in and I asked one of the workers if they were planning on having very many phones beyond the pre-order batch.
He did say that they were planning on having "some" but that he wasn't sure how long that batch would last hehe.

I sell original adapters over 2 years, hope these suggestions can help you find the right adapters.
First, some words I use.
①Original:
Someone call it genuine. Apple don�t produce adapter by itself, so they find OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer). Till now I know 3 companies make adapters for Apple, they are Delta/Liteon/Samsung. Some customers like Delta, they think that its quality is the best.
②Replacement:
These adapters also called high-copy, they are made by other factories without Apple�s authorisation. Too many factories produce these adapters in China, a wide difference between these adapters. Generally speaking, 2 kinds, Grade A and Grade B.
Factories in China like calling their replacement as OEM, it�s not right. I will not discuss Grade B, quality is a big problem in my opinion.

I had the 400 iMac DV SE, and I just put in a 500MHz w/ a better grphx card (was on the 500mhz mobo) and it runs like a charm. Just get the mobo off eBay and there ya go! ;)

The Denison unit seems good enough, but I don't like the dock....bulky.
I'd prefer the solution Monster has come up with, that is, just a cable to connect to the iPod...no dock.
I wonder what the prices are like for the Denison ice>Link is. $200 for the Monster solution seems pretty steep.

Is that done just by going to accounts, unlocking the lock, right clicking the name and selecting the home folder -- and I presume just making sure it's the same folder that is selected for SL?
Also, given my setup (SSD booting and running SL with my apps) what is the best way to install Lion? I have the dmg. file, so what would I do to make sure I don't wipe out my SSD situation?
